Storytelling Family Sessions
Documenting your family in all the chaos and calm, authentically you. We will let your kiddos lead the way, in all their wild, wondrous, magical glory. I will capture your story, unposed. I will gently prompt you when necessary, but allow the prompts to fall to the wayside as it happens.
As a mom of 3 myself, I do not expect, or even desire, anyone to be perfect during a session. I am here to capture the truth of your family and your kiddos childhood - the chaos, the tears, the laughs, all of it.
The key to a wonderful storytelling session is the same as the key to a wonderful childhood - connection. So sit back, breathe, and enjoy one another while I capture every last detail of your love.

$450 for up to 90 minutes and a full gallery.
Extended Family Sessions
These are perfect for including anyone not within your household, think grandparents, cousins, etc. These will be more posed for the classic photos, but will also include candid photography throughout if possible.

* Vintage 35mm Film add on - 1 roll, both digital and printed in 4x6, for $100
* Video recording and creation is available as an add on to any session. Inquire for a quote. Video add ons start at $100 for 15 minutes added to your session with a 3 minute edited video.

Why storytelling family photography?
Storytelling family photography means you get family photos, but without the cheesy smiles and forced looking kiddos. It means you run around, do big belly laughs, create some epic memories and get photos to remember this time in your lives. It means genuine love. The small moments and the big smiles. It is capturing childhood authentically, taking our time to let them lead the way.
Storytelling sessions allow you to look back at your photos and feel.
Can you still give us guidance?
Absolutely.
I will give gently prompts as needed, but I will never worry if the prompt go off somewhere unexpected and I will never say “say cheese”. There will be genuine connection rather than forced teeth smiles.
What if my kid is in a ‘mood’?
I love moods. I have 3 kiddos of my own with very strong opinions - I am not afraid of a strong-willed kiddo. In fact, I welcome it. We will work around them and make the session as authentically you as possible. Childhood is not supposed to be perfect, it supposed to be felt. Your session is the same.
